5/5 Stars Date: December 30, 2021 Reviewed by: Aquila Fun plinker.!

I had been looking at Heritage Rough Rider for a plinker but they looked cheap to me so I held off. When I saw a ruger 22 revolver for 2 bills I jumped on it. I stead of an ugly plastic safety the gun is made drop safe with a transfer bar which doesnt mess up the looks of it. It will only go bang when the trigger is pulled. Of all the 22s Ive shot, this little revolver is the most reliable. Maybe one round in 1000 will fail to fire. Unlike a normal single action the cylinder rotates freely when the loading gate is opened which make loading and unloading a snap. The only complaint I have, really, is because 22 is so dirty I have to quit after an hour of shooting because the casings start to stick in the cylinder. I can fix that by getting a second wrangler.
