CDP (Custom Defense Package) pistols combine all the best carry features into a package that gives them their name. Adding these features during production reduces the price of these pistols by over $600, making them an incredible value.
These select models of Kimber pistols are designed to meet the strict California compliance requirements featuring high visibility loaded chamber indicators. However, these pistols are available in all 50 states for individuals looking for additional safety attributes to classic 1911 pistol designs.
The Kimber 1911 Custom CDP II .45 ACP is a lightweight pistol that lives up to its name of custom defense package. With an aluminum, matte black frame, stainless steel slide, front strap 30 lines-per-inch checkering, and rosewood, double diamond grips, this Custom CDP II features self-illuminating tritium night sights that work without batteries or charging, a 5" match grade barrel, and carry melt treatment for rounded edges that prevent snagging.
