Federal Limits Apply (FLA) ID Requirements
If your California Driver License or Identification Card says "Federal Limits Apply", additional documentation is required before a firearm can be released.
Required Documentation
Customers with a Federal Limits Apply ID must provide one (1) of the following documents on the day of firearm release:
```- Certified Birth Certificate
- Valid U.S. Passport
- Certificate of Naturalization
The spelling of the customer’s name on any supporting document must match the information submitted on the DROS paperwork.
```Birth Certificate Notice
Birth certificates labeled "Abstract" are not accepted by the California Department of Justice.
Name Changes
If your name has changed due to marriage, divorce, or a legal name change, you must provide supporting documentation along with your Birth Certificate, Passport, or Naturalization Certificate.

Important DROS Information
Customers are responsible for reviewing all DROS paperwork before submission. Incorrect information or failure to provide proper documentation may result in cancellation of the original DROS and a required re-DROS fee of $55.00.
```No firearm will be released until all required paperwork and documentation has been collected and verified.
```Document Approval
Acceptance of documentation is determined at the discretion of Ammo Bros, with guidance from the California Department of Justice (CA DOJ) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
