Built around a stout stainless-steel chassis, the California Compliant Echelon™ 4.5F Comp features an integral compensator on the hammer-forged slide and barrel that reduces muzzle rise for faster, more accurate follow-up shots. Its revolutionary optics-mounting system delivers direct compatibility with today’s leading red-dot sights, while fully ambidextrous controls and interchangeable backstraps accommodate a wide range of shooters. This configuration includes the California-required loaded chamber indicator, magazine disconnect, and 10-round magazine capacity.
The CA compliant variant of the Echelon ships with two 10-round magazines.
The Central Operating Group is self-contained and serialized, providing a robust housing for the patent pending operating system.
By utilizing a set of movable pins, the Variable Interface System on the Echelon Comp achieves a low, direct mount optics solution for improved sight picture and intuitive alignment.
A double-zipper case is included with each Springfield Armory handgun. The soft-sided shell ensures the firearm and mounted accessories are protected during transportation, while an interior pouch can hold an additional magazine.
