The Remington Model 700 SPS Varmint rifle is built on the Model 700 action, which is the most solid, dependable, and trusted in existence. The 26" heavy-contour barrel is perfectly matched to its high-velocity caliber offerings, and the ergonomically-designed black synthetic stock has a vented beavertail forend for enhanced grip, reduced weight, and better heat dissipation. The barrel and receiver have a non-reflective matte blued finish, and this model features a hinged floorplate magazine, sling swivel studs, and a drilled and tapped receiver.
