Specifically designed for saltwater use, the Cedros saltwater spinning reel features Okuma's Litecast construction design, a Dual Force Drag System for extreme stopping power and its proprietary HIgh Density Gearing. It also makes use of a corrosion-resistant coating process, 6HPB + 1RB corrosion-resistant stainless steel bearings and a quick-set and ratchet system. Combine this with a highspeed gear ratio and a cstomised aluminum handle and anglers can be assured of a better fishing experience thanks to one of the best saltwater jig fishing reels on the market. The Litecast constrcution design used on the Cedros is Okuma's lightest fishing reel technology. It uses the magnesium material and a casting process to make the ree lighter but still strong. The Litecast structure of the reel is not only tough but also 15% lighter than aluminum alloy reels. The Cedros also includes a manual bail trip function for reliability as well as helping to reduce line twist.
