5/5 Stars Date: January 1, 2020 Reviewed by: CritterLee 1895 dark!

This is exactly what Ive been looking for. I shoot suppressed and think the 45-70 is just about perfect with big heavy bullets running subsonic through a suppressor. Factory threaded lever actions arent exactly a common thing, so I was happy to see the dark. Ive owned 5 1895 rifles before this one. They have never failed me and are solid enough to survive years of abuse back when I was guiding hunters and fishermen.
